Q²M Foam is our solution for a gentle pre-wash, loosening grime and light contamination before any major wash. It builds a thick, long lasting foam. 90% of defects on the automotive paint develop after improper car washing. Therefore it is crucial to apply a two-buckets washing method, to use a pH-neutral shampoo as well as a decent pressure washer. Still, the real key aspect is that of what we wash our automobile with, just to pinpoint, as an example, silicone-free sponges, microfibre sponges or gloves, or natural-wool gloves. Gyeon does recommend the last of the mentioned solutions, which should well explain why there are as many as two different items of that sort in our offer. The most crucial factor to gain long lasting protection by using a quartz-based coating is reaching the structural integrity of the applied layer. Two terms should be differed in this case – “drying time” and “curing time”. When we speak about drying time we have the time between coating and wiping the gentle mist appearing as solvents and oil evaporate in our mind. Curing time is the whole time needed for the coating to gain its full resistance and 경도. Depending on climate, temperature and humidity it’s from 2 days in extremely hot and dry climates up to even two weeks in rainy and cold weather conditions. Professiolnals use IR lamps to shorten this time and prepare the coating to leave the studio as soon as possible. It’s possible to fully cure a quartz coated vehicle by heating each element for at least 20 minutes at approx. 60’C

Before choosing the origin and type of wool we conducted dozens of tests including long term test, washing in a washing machine or setting the material on fire. Various suppliers couldn’t reach our expectations and finally we’ve chosen what we consider the safest and most durable option for your precious vehicle. All of Gyeon quartz products owe outstanding self cleaning abilities. What does that actually mean? In short – that your vehicle or any of its parts like wheels or trim will stay much longer clean and if they at last accumulate dirt, maintaining them will be incredibly easy. Quartz based coatings build a thick layer on the sealed surface, which remains for a very long time extremely hydrophobic and slick. The slickness of the finish leads to a minor deposition of dirt particles. What’s more, adhesion of any type of dirt to a quartz coating is very low, so in most cases just a good rinse with a pressure washer is sufficient for removing most of the deposits. Self cleaning abilities are one of the most distinctive features of quartz coatings but can not be seen as the ability to remain always clean. Do not mistake self cleaning with a car remaining perfectly clean after a enthusiastic drive in heavy rain.
